Comments: Speaking of sex....

Anne, look at the Picture 11 in the photo essay accompanying the CBS article. See also here and here. That search took less than 5 minutes. I think you may be seeing a pattern that doesn't exist.

Well, I should have been more specific. Checking the major, national news outlets (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NYT, WAPO, LATimes, etc.) I'm seeing a huge preponderance of pictures of women.

I don't doubt that a search through a broader array of sites, or a scroll through a photo essay, would show more balance, it's just that the primary photos chosen to illustrate the front pages of the stories from the bigger, national outlets are mostly of women.

Anyhow. I was just being cranky or something. Be nice to me. I'm sick. :)

"Not all kinds of same-sex activities are disallowed. There are a few that are even going to be encouraged. Like same-sex schools. I look forward, with great amusement, to the school-age crushes from those institutions."

That is the god damn funniest line I've read all day. Maybe all week. Priceless.

Snif. Thank you.

I was bitterly disappointed that no one laughed at that originally. :)
