Comments: Well?

Are there still major TV networks? :) I spend much of my TV time watching EuroNews and science & travel shows...

I looked at the USAToday list. If that's what they're putting on, can you imagine how bad the stuff they're replacing must have been?

And who downloads AIM? It comes with almost everything I've ever installed: browsers, Windows, RealPlayer, NotaBene, C+++.....

I think if I hadn't started watching Navy NCIS this year, I wouldn't turn on network television at all from one week to the next.

I'm told that, in addition to putting little that isn't junk on the screen, networks have taken to rearranging their schedules constantly.

If they have a "Desireable Demographic" for one show, they start running other shows in that time slot in the hopes that the DD will, out of habit or absent-mindedness, turn on the alternate show, love it, and start watching it in addition to the original show.

This is, in my view, another good reason not to fall in love with some network show.

To have it constantly pre-empted for one of the fifteen versions of Law & Order currently showing, or one of the half-dozen versions of CSI they've created, would be extremely annoying. (Not that I'm a Desireable Demographic.)
