Well, she should be the second coming of Einstein and Learned Hand (though one might expect her evaluation of Bush to be somewhat more moderate at that point), but she hasn't had a career that was sufficiently public to provide a trail.

Plus, they're now trying to shift attention away from the other stuff.

You know, I'm sure she's smart: dumb doesn't go that far, even with connections. The question is, is she Supreme Court smart or is she courtier smart? It's the latter that I see: she's no mandarin or scholar; she's an executive. That's fine for FEMA, perhaps....

Jonathan - Well, look at who nominated her. Bush and his cronies, the group who thought what a country needed was a "CEO" (and a failed one, at that) and not a "leader."
