Sounds like you need to make him write down all the stuff he does that you know he'll hate next week, then you keep the hard copy and show it to him when he wigs out *g*

I've tried that. He's perfectly capable of refusing to look at such documents and insisting he told me otherwise verbally at some later time.

(Also? The one time I tried it, we wasted three days trying to nail down every detail of every conversation. I got so busy playing CYA that I had no time to do any actual work. And life is just too short.)
