Okay, here's your morning unsolicited advice :)

Go on your cruise, think not about work at all, have a great time. Then, come back and hit the pavement hard with the job hunting *g*

And don't feel a bit guilty about the thought that without you he might go under. With the way he handles (or doesn't) business, he's likely to go under whether you're there or not.
