Comments: I Wear My Sunglasses At Night

Woody and I watched the miniseries version of Stephen King's The Stand one spring break because we weren't fit to do anything else: flu hit both of us, nearly simultaneously, and thank god we didn't have our child yet!

But The Stand starts with a flu-like disease wiping out 99% of humanity....

Yeah, especially with that "post-illness-everything-looks-new-and-fresh" thing going on....

Heh. That happens to me if I watch a miniseries straight through (or too many episodes of one television show in a row). There's this weird disconnect in your brain between the fictional world you've been immersing yourself in and the real world you're suddenly living in again....
