Comments: I'm a promise-breaker!

Know what you mean about blogging: got a relapse of the bug last month, but nothing sustained. Of course, August is my least favorite month for history blogging, and this is a big anniversary year, so I'm mostly keeping my head down.

Teaching stuff is coming up fast, but at least Max is away at camp, so I can be... productive? Unashamed of my lack of productivity? Anyway, while I do enjoy classes, the period of intense meditation on the tradeoffs involved in planning them isn't fun.

How *are* things going at the new job? It's been a while now. Are you adjusting to Kansas? (Summer in Kansas--one of the main reasons I left the state....) Missing Hawaii? How is the school to work at?

For me, it's tough to find blogging topics that aren't repetitive. I seem to wind up talking about the same two or three things over and over--and without anything really new to say each time. I'm on a diet, clients are crazy, blah, blah, blah.

Even though you talk about many of the same things, it's good to know you're out there and keeping busy and doing well :) I have to admit, I have the same problem, I keep busy, but it's always the same old stuff, so I don't post much, either...

It's hard to try to be even vaguely interesting when your day consists of "turn on computer, bang on keyboard, turn off computer." :)

Glad to hear you're still out there, keeping busy and (I hope) happy and healthy!

Oh yes, happy and healthy, doing the same old stuff -- working in the yard, working on the house, clearing out the years of accumulated clutter here *g*
